Robin A. Harris joined Financo in 2006. As a Vice President, Ms. Harris is responsible for working with senior members of the firm to advise clients on strategic opportunities in addition to leading the execution of merger and acquisition, leveraged buyout, divestiture, and private capital raising transactions.
Prior to joining Financo, Ms. Harris was an investment banker in the Consumer & Retail groups at Banc of America Securities and Merrill Lynch where she executed initial public offerings for Ruth's Chris Steak House, Kirkland's, and PETCO Animal Supplies. She also advised numerous strategic and financial companies on potential leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, divestitures, capital structure optimization, and debt and equity financings. Clients included Tiffany & Co., Neiman Marcus, Timberland, Coty and key private equity firms focused on the consumer and retail space.
Ms. Harris also has been directly involved in the retail industry as she served as a Director of Finance at Saks Fifth Avenue Enterprises.
Prior to attending business school, Ms. Harris spent four years working in institutional fixed income sales and trading for the Royal Bank of Canada.
Ms. Harris holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Huron College at the University of Western Ontario, a Masters of Science in Economics with a concentration in Comparative Government from the London School of Economics, and a Masters of Business Administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. Ms. Harris is a native of Toronto, Canada. |
